L'agriturismo è immerso nel verde e nella pace del Parco Regionale di Portofino. Gode di una vista mozzafiato sul Golfo del Tigullio ed è un perfetto punto di partenza per escursioni alla scoperta delle meraviglie naturali del Parco. La oste Carlotta, sempre gentilissima, ci ha viziato con i prodotti a chilometro zero dell'agriturismo e ha contribuito a rendere unico il nostro soggiorno suggerendoci i migliori ristoranti in cui mangiare o i posti assolutamente da visitare.

A great homebase for the complete Portofino experience
We absolutely loved it. (But make sure to read the description! You'll have to do a bit of waking -- only downhill). The room was clean and comfortable with a nice bathroom and the AC kept us cool. We used the shared kitchen and patio space to make dinner and visit with the other guests. And there's a wonderful farm dog named Yuri. Our host was so kind and helpful we felt right at home. We are very grateful -- thanks again Carlotta! If you're staying here be sure to note that in addition to the town you have terrific access to Portofino Natural Park. The hike to San Fruttuoso was the highlight of our time there, but there are miles of trails we hope to see next time.

Amazing stay among bee hives, olive trees and with an amazing view.
The host is amazing, with the Fiat Panda shuttle experience, the explanations of the activities in the region and the bee hives and other agriculture activities of the family. The delicious breakfast on the terrace was also a fantastic experience. We really enjoyed our stay and we can only recommend this place to visit Portofino (reachable 15min by foot or 5min by the Fiat Panda) and San Fruttuoso (1-1.30h by foot), or just to relax.

Feel at home in paradise
We loved our one night stay beyond words. It was our first holiday with our two-month old baby and it couldn’t be better: incredible viewpoint, calm garden, giant breakfast, useful kitchen for our small romantic diner. Carlota, the host, is so truly generous and welcoming, she even helped me cook good pasta for us!! We can’t recommend this place enough and would love to go back!

We were really sad when we had to leave....
Terre Rosse is like a dream: very nice, welcoming host that was always available when needed; very clean and nice room with private patio with a great national park and sea view; very quiet and cosy place, but close to Portofino harbor (15 minutes walk); great starting point for hikes, e.g. San Fruttuoso; fresh breakfast (partly fresh fruit from the owner’s garden); pick-up with car worked perfectly. The perfect place to be close to Portofino, but feeling like being in a lodge in a national park. If needed, a kitchen as well as some basics (pasta, water, wine, snacks etc.) are locally available. We will definitely be back!

A quiet paradise for nature lovers of a simpler life.
Our stay at Terre Rosse was amazing! The bnb is located on the beautiful hills of Portofino bay, surrounded by olive and fruit trees, blooming flowers and exceptional views. In this little paradise Carlotta was a great host, taking care of everything from the abundant breakfast served on the terrace (with coffee, milk, pudding, eggs, and among others marmelades and honey made by herself!) to picking us up in Portofino to reach the property multiple times. She was extremely available and helpful in giving us directions about what to explore, hiking around the peninsula. The location is in fact a great starting point for excursions down to San Fruttuoso Abbey or up to the top of the hill across rich woods and sunny paths on the cliffs. Overall we were extremely sad to have to leave such a peaceful
environment, where one can still watch the stars at night hearing only the sound of crickets - even in the beginning of October.
It can be challenging to find where to eat, above all in Portofino, due to the expensive prices of restaurants and limited offer.
Luckily Carlotta made a kitchen available to the two bnb rooms, so that we could do grocery and cook at our own pace.
She also has a storeroom with available necessities from pasta to sauces and drinks in case one is too lazy to go to town!

Endroit magique
Le cadre de cet établissement est tout simplement magnifique - la vue est à tomber, le charme est partout, dans la maison, dans le jardin, dans son histoire. Les propriétaires sont adorables et aiment vraiment leur home sweet home et vous le font partager. Une adresse à recommander sans hésitation, et de surcroît pour un séjour romantique.
La petite frayeur en descendant à Portofino , en croisant les sangliers de la forêt, mais cela fait partie du décor , et après tout, ils ne semblent pas dangereux...

- Die Besitzerin, Carlotta, war super freundlich und hat alles getan, uns den Aufenthalt so angenehm wie möglich zu machen. Zum Frühstück gab es jeden Tag zusätzlich eine schöne Überraschung: selbstgemachte Marmeladen, Kompotte, Honig, Obstsalat, Smoothies, Rühreier aus eigener Produktion, Kuchen oder Gebäck. Das Grundstück ist wunderschön, viele Sitzgruppen und Liegen laden zum Entspannen ein, und bietet einen tollen Blick auf das tief darunter liegende Meer. Tolle Wanderungen haben wir direkt vom Grundstück aus gestartet, zu Fuß nach Portofino, Santa Margherita oder Camogli, und natürlich zur Bucht von San Fruttuoso. Die Zimmer sind eher klein, aber praktisch und sehr geschmackvoll eingerichtet. Wir haben uns sehr wohl gefühlt!

Place is relaxing, owner is very friendly and just to meet her, I suggest people to visit. We had trip to Italy when it was code red. we could not see Portofino because of the weather however the owner of the place helped us a lot. Due to weather, road was damaged and the owner helped us to survive there. She and her husband helped us to reach train station and I am sure nobody else would help that much to us. In order to see Portofino, next time, we need to visit them again. Weather condition would be much better :(

Wij hebben het laatste deel van onze huwelijksreis genoten van de gastvrijheid van Carlotta en overweldigd door de fantastische omgeving en het sublieme uitzicht vanaf de kamer. De omgeving is geweldig, Portofino een erg leuke en gastvrije plaats en een top locatie om te wandelen en te genieten van de romantische omgeving. Wil je tot rust komen en ondergedompeld worden in volledige gastvrijheid, ga naar Terre Rosse Portofino. Want, wakker worden met Yuri (de leuke, lieve hond) bij de deur maakt je dag meteen goed!!! Wij komen zeker een keer terug.

Wunderschöner Urlaub.
Carlotta war eine ganz tolle Gastgeberin. Sie war immer zur Stelle und hat uns immer abgeholt, wenn wir nicht laufen wollten. Die Unterkunft ist mit dem eigenen Auto nicht zu erreichen aber das hat überhaupt nicht gestört. Der eigene Honig von Carlotta ist der Wahnsinn. Das Anwesen ist traumhaft und man hat an manchen Stellen sogar links und rechts das Meer neben sich Und den Blick auf Portofino. Werden auf jeden Fall wieder kommen.

Es ist ein liebevolles restauriertes Bauernhaus mit separaten Zimmern. Eine tolle liebevolle Gastfamilie die das Grundstück und den Hof mit Liebe zum Detail betreut.
Keinen Fernseher: es ist kein Kritikpunkt, denn wenn mann an so einem wundervollen Ort ist braucht man keinen Fernseher.

Wonderful! Carlotta, the manager is Amazing, very serviceminded and over all a caring person. The location is great. Just above Portofino. Paraggi is Close and you can walk to San Fruttuoso, or by boat. Wonderful areas for walking. If you love animals and nature this is the place to go to! Vegan friendly. We had the best time! For us an advantage, but guests should be aware that private cars cannot access to the Regional Park of Portofino. If you arrive by car you will have to park your car in the vicinity, in Portofino or in Paraggi (both private parking areas) and they will organize your transfer to the Agriturismo.

Nous avons tout aimé mais il faut savoir qu'il n'est pas possible d'arriver jusqu'à Terre Rosse avec votre voiture, mais la proprietaire est venue nous chercher avec sa petite voiture. Durant notre séjour nous l'avons fait plusieurs fois: il faut compter 30 minutes à pied depuis le centre de Portofino le chemin grimpe mais est très agréable - Superbe emplacement sur les hauteurs au calme et dans la nature. Accueil chaleureux, lnaturel et discret. Petit déjeuner excellent et copieux. sur demande repas du soir varié et très bien servi. on y retournera avec plaisir.

"I found my love in Agriturismo Terre Rosse Portofino"
The owner, was helpful, provided information about the close area and the region. Breakfast (included in price) and dinner (not included) were made from fresh local products. Our children were enthusiastic about collecting eggs (and then having them for breakfast), lemons and playing with sheeps. Excellent area for hiking and trail running.

“L'agriturismo a les inconvénients liés à ses atouts: il est vraiment isolé et difficile d'accès (compter 15 minutes pour rejoindre le port à pied et 20 minutes pour remonter: c'est le prix à payer pour profiter de ce petit paradis. Il s'agit d'un agriturismo (équivalent de nos chambres d’hôtes en France) : les prestation ne sont donc pas celles d'un hôtel toutefois le logement mis à disposition est tout neuf (ouvert en 2014) et bien équipé et le couchage très confortable. Propreté irréprochable. Des boissons fraiches sont à disposition pour un prix très raisonnable. Le petit-déjeuner composé entre autres de produits frais (pain bio maison) et de produits de l'exploitation (miel) est copieux et tout le monde (même les ados) y trouve son compte. Disponibilité et sourire de la proprietaire. Un merveilleux séjour dans un cadre d'une beauté sauvage qui contraste avec le bling-bling de Portofino. L'annonce spécifie que la maison est située dans un site protégé accessible uniquement à pied : et bien c'est vrai ! (chaussures de sport ou de marche fortement recommandées!). La propriétaire est autorisée à circuler avec son véhicule et assure le transfert des bagages et propose quelques courses durant votre séjour. Que cela ne vous décourage pas, le site et le sourire de Carlotta valent vraiment tous les efforts. Pour ceux qui viennent en voiture, une place de parking en contrebas du parc naturel est comprise dans la prestation ce qui est un vrai chance à Portofino où vous pouvez être refoulé par la police si vous ne pouvez justifier d'un emplacement. Cette place est petite mais nous avons quand même réussi à y stationner notre voiture dont la longueur est d'un peu plus de 4,5 m”.

Great views, sweet breakfast, lovely host Carlotta who showed us her olive trees and bees and with her special asset: Panda 4x4, we loved it all very much! We did the nice hike to Abbazia di San Fruttuoso and back to Portofino by boat, that is just great!

Carlotta was an incredibly kind host who really went out of her way to make us feel at home. The breakfast and the kitchen facilities were fantastic and eating on the terrace with the stunning view was amazing. Very well located for hiking to a few of the amazing spots around (or just into Portofino).
The location is incredible for views but difficult to get to as the road is only for those with national park permits. While it's only 20 minutes walking to Portofino and Carlotta does her best to offer a lift it's still difficult.
